Erlanger, Ky. — Oriimec Corporation of America introduces a brand new line of straightener/feeders to respond to the stamping industry demand for advancement and diversification of coil processing.

The most important advancement on the new HY straightener/feeder is the addition of 11 work rolls, offering an extraordinary level of flatness to the material. The work rolls have also been re-engineered for better maintenance, with easy-to-reach openings on both the top and bottom of the structure for cleaning.

The new LCC 06HY model can handle material from 50 mm (1.96″) up to 600mm (23.6) wide and the coil weight can be up to 5000 kg (11,000 lbs). With a maximum line speed of 24m/min, an impressive increase in productivity can be acheived.

The new HY series also features an HM-CCS controller. The CCS system has been a great benefit to the industry, making high-level performance possible for specialized applications and contributing to faster automation and increased efficiency in the pressroom.

The work rolls on the new HY series machines can be reached from either the top or the bottom of the structure just by opening the cover, making cleaning the rolls much easier than on previous models. The upper door features an easy one-step button for opening and the lower door can be opened as much as 90 degrees.
